Physical Therapy treatment incorporates a wide range of diagnoses. The goal of therapy is to restore function and mobility to promote independence, well-being and quality of life. Our licensed physical therapists treat patients from ages 0 to 99. Individual programs are designed to restore range of motion, improve strength and balance, and assist in the acquisition of gross motor skills. Patient care is performed with a hands-on approach, providing one-on-one therapeutic intervention.
Occupational Therapy evaluates and treats individuals of all ages. Patients may have fine motor, physical, developmental, or cognitive impairments. Treatment emphasis is geared toward the restoration of function in order to maximize a person’s independence and safety with self-care, work and home management. Care plans aim to provide decreased joint pain, improved mobility and strength, and ergonomic intervention. Exercises and modalities are utilized for treatment and a total hands-on approach incorporated.

Vestibular rehabilitation is a treatment option for individuals suffering from imbalance, falls, vertigo/dizziness, and BPPV. Therapy helps improve balance, strength, and decreases the risk of falls. Canalith repositioning can help resolve signs and symptoms of BPPV.
Dry needling is a technique physical therapists use (where allowed by state law) for the treatment of pain and movement impairments. The technique uses a “dry” needle, one without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle. Other terms commonly used to describe dry needling, include trigger point dry needling, and intramuscular manual therapy.

Pelvic floor physical therapy is a treatment to help address pain, weakness, and dysfunction in the pelvic floor muscles. The type of therapy prescribed will depend upon the symptoms you’re experiencing. For example, some symptoms will require relaxing and lengthening of the muscles, while others may require strengthening the muscles.
